We’ve been doing this work under the FCS Marine name since 2017, with more than 20 years of hands-on maritime experience behind us. Our services cover marine air conditioning, refrigeration, yacht insulation, mold care and cleaning, water purification, and marine equipment rentals.

The combination of heat, humidity, salt air, moisture, and near-constant use puts every onboard system under steady stress. Air conditioning works harder here than almost anywhere else. Refrigeration runs longer. Insulation, ducting, and interior spaces are constantly fighting condensation, heat transfer, and the mold problems that follow when either goes unchecked.
We see all of this firsthand. We work on vessels at marina slips, private docks, waterfront residences, shipyards, and yacht service facilities. When an owner or captain needs us further afield — the Bahamas, the wider Caribbean, or ports up the Northeast — we can be dispatched as needed. Yachts are transient by nature, and we’d rather meet the boat where it is than ask the boat to work around us.

Marine Refrigeration
Marine refrigeration is one of our specialties. We work on the major systems found across the South Florida fleet — Sub-Zero, U-Line, Vitrifrigo, Isotherm, Frigoboat, and Sea Frost among them — and our work isn’t limited to swapping parts. Our technicians rebuild systems from the compressor up, restore aging equipment to full working order, and design, build, and service custom walk-in refrigerators and freezers tailored to the vessel’s layout and provisioning needs. Whether a boat is sitting at the dock or finishing a long passage offshore, our work keeps the cold side of the galley running the way it should.
Yacht Insulation
Yacht insulation covers a lot more ground than most people realize, and we work across the full range of applications. That includes chilled water pipe insulation on HVAC runs, hard and flex ducting insulation, bulkhead applications up to marine class fire-rated standards, and sound-damping treatments for generator enclosures, engine room bulkheads, and other noise-sensitive areas. Whether the goal is thermal performance, condensation control, fire compartmentalization, or quieting a noisy genset, we have the materials and the experience to spec the right system for the job.
Yacht Mold Cleaning and Moisture Control
Mold is one of the most common and most underestimated problems on yachts operating in the South Florida climate. Treating it takes more than wiping down a visible patch. Our remediation work starts with finding and addressing the moisture source, because mold comes back quickly if the conditions that caused it aren’t corrected. From there, we remove, sanitize the affected areas cabins, headliners, duct interiors, storage lockers, and other low-ventilation spaces where colonies typically establish. We use marine-appropriate antimicrobial treatments that kill spores without damaging surfaces or finishes.
Onboard Water Systems
Watermakers, Purification & Plumbing
FCS Marine services the full onboard water system — reverse-osmosis watermakers, water purification, fresh water pumps, accumulator tanks, and related plumbing. Our team handles new installations, scheduled maintenance, and repair work, whether that’s commissioning a watermaker on a new build, replacing a failed pressure pump at the dock, or troubleshooting a unit that’s stopped producing on passage.
FCS Marine is also an authorized FCI Watermakers dealer, and we keep filters, membranes, and consumables in stock — so a new system, a replacement element, or a routine filter change can all be handled through one shop.
Marine Equipment Rentals
When a vessel needs temporary support during repair, maintenance, refit work, or moisture-control projects, FCS Marine offers marine equipment rentals. These may include temporary HVAC units, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and ventilation solutions.
